Description
A vintage microphone in the Caen War Museum stands in the foreground, in front of a notice in French that was once broadcast over the radio in France during World War 2.
During a September 2019 trip to France, I toured the five D-Day landing beaches as well as variety of other historical sites related to Operation Overlord, including this museum. I find history fascinating, but only if I'm out experiencing it and trying to imagine what it was like, and not sitting at home reading textbooks.

Thanks! I enjoy museums, but I find that it's often difficult to take "decent" pictures of the artifacts because of how they're displayed, all the light glare in the display case, etc, but I'm rather pleased with the way this one turned out.
