This was taken at Discovery Harbour, an old British naval base in Penetanguishene, Ontario, built after the War of 1812 in order to defend against unwanted access to Upper Canada.

Hi, everybody! Toronto-based photographer here, having lived in this city all my life. It's a great place if you like large, busy cities, but I prefer smaller places. Anyway, although my education and work experience has been primarily in math and computer programming and similar subjects, my passions lie elsewhere. Don't get me wrong - if there's a particular problem I'm trying to program a solution to or some menial task that I'm trying to automate, my head gets really into it trying to figure it out, but that's just what I do to pay the bills.
