A path leads up the side of a volcanic cliff through thick, creepy, and scary fog on Faial Island in the Azores Islands, with a blank wooden sign for adding text.
This was taken on a trip to the Azores Islands in January 2016, which was during their rainy season. Our first day there was right when Hurricane Alex hit the islands, although thankfully at that point it had downgraded to a tropical storm. Still, we had to wait for the rain to subside before exploring much. We rented a van and did a tour around the island, which included this creepy path. Ideal capture for the Halloween season. It definitely has the creepy feel of a horror movie. I know I should turn back, but yet I want to know what is at the end of the path.
