A cabin (cottage) in the woods is illuminated by a lone street lamp on a dark winter night during a snow storm.

This was taken at a cottage I've been going to every year for the past 10 years or so, usually in June, but this is a winter scene. Thankfully, the cottages are winterized, and many of them have fireplaces, which makes them nice and cozy on a cold winter night.

Hi, everybody! Toronto-based photographer here, having lived in this city all my life. It's a great place if you like large, busy cities, but I prefer smaller places. Anyway, although my education and work experience has been primarily in math and computer programming and similar subjects, my passions lie elsewhere. Don't get me wrong - if there's a particular problem I'm trying to program a solution to or some menial task that I'm trying to automate, my head gets really into it trying to figure it out, but that's just what I do to pay the bills.
