An old abandoned power house, once operated by the Dufferin Light and Power Company, sits derelict in the woods beside the Pine River near the small town of Mulmur, Ontario.

As covid reared its ugly head in early 2020, I had to find things to do that didn't involve large crowds of people, so I spent some time exploring abandoned places. This was one such place - a friend of mine just mentioned one day that he thought he saw an old building through the trees as he was driving home one day, and gave me an approximate location. I decided to go check it out.

Hi, everybody! Toronto-based photographer here, having lived in this city all my life. It's a great place if you like large, busy cities, but I prefer smaller places. Anyway, although my education and work experience has been primarily in math and computer programming and similar subjects, my passions lie elsewhere. Don't get me wrong - if there's a particular problem I'm trying to program a solution to or some menial task that I'm trying to automate, my head gets really into it trying to figure it out, but that's just what I do to pay the bills.
